Day 3 in IndyDay 2 of Champs!....What can I say but OMG! I know I didn't post this last night b/c I was too tired and couldn't even function let alone type a complete sentence. This will be the gist of the day/night. Lol! Ok, the day started out great, seeing Mike swim in person is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. HE IS FAST!Seeing him swim the fly is just....O_O...his arms are about as wide as the lane. It is true, he was made for this sport. I have uploaded to 2 vids from last night, I will post the links here. The day before we tried to get a pic with DP but we failed due to security, we weren't going to press our luck and piss anyone off. Lol. Even though later that later we saw both DP and HP in the bathroom. Small world huh? ;) We were at our seats and waited patiently until the line of little kids wound down. The security tried to tell us she had to be some where, he then asked DP if she was ready and she said she would go after we were done. Which I thought was great. I was thinking in my head...I am not about to get a picture with MP's mom and sister....Lol. I couldn't believe how warm and welcoming Ms. Phelps was. Honestly THE nicest person I think I have ever met. Nikki and DP clicked over Education. Nikki got a hug. Which I couldn't believe that it was happening....O_O Nikki is still reeling from that one. Very, very, lovely woman. I only have nice things to say about her. And not once did she turn away anyone. Always eager to talk to the kids, giving them hugs and signing tons of stuff. I couldn't believe I was seeing this with my eyes. Kid's, too me can be annoying. She was perfectly content with each and everyone that came along. It is definitely something I wont forget. We hope for maybe another pic and just to say Hi, when we go to her book signing on Saturday. We even asked if she was having it and she said,"Yes." We told her we would be there and she responded,"Your coming?" We said "Of course!" Lol. Why would we not support her. She's truly an amazing woman and has raised a great athlete and son! :) Meeting Debbie was definitely the highlight, other than Mike winning both of his Finals. He is amazing as well.....but we all knew that. :)All in all, it was a great day.I have a feeling the week is just going to get better and better. Everyday, we top the day before.
